Isabela de la Grana was born and raised in Miami, FL, the homeland of THE HEAT and holy beach Sundays. She studies at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts, emphasizing writing and directing! She is a haiku enthusiast, so much so here is one she wrote the other day:
 

a fire lit under
i become every brave thing
that learned how to fly

…and that’s what she is trying to do. To be brave in the burning desire to say something honest through film. Her philosophy in life is “I don’t know what I don’t know” She believes art can help her answer those questions.
